In the King James Version it occurs 120 times - starting with Genesis chapter 4, verse 14.
The reason I point this out is that God must have had a reason for saying this so many times through out the Bible.
This is his way of comforting us and reminding us that our Redeemer, Lord Jesus is near, during times of trouble.
He also refer's to this many times when a prophecy is to be fulfilled.
For me, brother's and sister's in Christ- we must know that what ever it is we are going through in life, no matter how severe the trouble- Jesus is always there through it all, the good and the bad. We never face any of it alone. Jesus is always there, and it shall come to pass, as each day brings us closer to Jesus...which also brings us a day closer to seeing what Heaven looks like.
What does this mean to you when you come across it as you read along in your Bible?
Is there any significance in this remark?
